"The Great Online Research Challenge"
is a free, nationwide contest for high school juniors
and seniors, giving them a chance to win $80,000 in
prizes, including four-year scholarships to Florida
State University.

In an effort to promote online literacy,
FSU has joined with LEXIS-NEXIS to offer students
*free* access and training for their service, which
offers easy searching of 1.4 billion documents from
over 18,000 sources world-wide.  For encouraging
students to develop these Internet research skills,
each winning teams' high school will be awarded a
two-year subscription to LEXIS-NEXIS ACADEMIC
UNIVerse.
