TARGET: Easy fiction by state/region

A second grade teacher came looking for Easy picture books which somehow
dealt with particular states or at least regions of the US. Does anyone
out there have a ready bibliography? We're not necessarily looking for
great amounts of information (wouldn't hurt of course). Books like
Giovanni's KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE and Bunting's THE WALL.
