Colorado Springs, School District 11 has openings for the position of
Coordinator of Information & Technology. The following is a summary of the
job function:


Under the direction of the building principal and the chief information
officer (CIO) or designee, the coordinator of information and technology
(CIT) works with the principal to support curriculum, instruction and
technology integration efforts/activities, manages daily access to and
utilization of information and technology resources; including library,
media, computer, video, and telecommunications at his/her assigned school
site.  The CIT serves as a consultant/staff development trainer to
students, teachers, the principal and other staff to develop and broaden
skills, knowledge and experience in the areas of library, media, and
technology resources.  The CIT provides basic technical assistance and
support for his/her site.
