SEC: Career education

My high school (975 girls) is preparing for a North Central evaluation.
There is a committe studying the area of career education/preparation.
Although I am not a member of this committee I have been asked to help
gather ideas/information from other schools. They want me to make a
presentation next Wednesday February 4th. I would appreciate any information
on how your school prepares the students in this area (formal or informal:
career day, research projects, shadowing,special classes, etc.) and at what
level. Thanks in advance for any information.
