The next day after I asked this list for help in subscribing to the IB
listserv, I received my sign-on confirmation.  Apparently, there had been
some downtime and a delay in processing.  I had numerous requests to share
any information I received; hence, this HIT.

Subscribe by sending a request to:
        listserv@Proteus.QC.CA
with the following command line in the text:
        SUBSCRIBE IB <Your Name>
