Another weapon in your arsenal is ... voice mail.... If you are busy, don't answer the phone. Let whoever is calling leave you a message. Who is more important: your students or some unknown person on the phone? At home, we screen all of our calls through the answering machine. It is the only way to retain sanity during dinner. 99% of the cold callers hang up when the machine's message starts. Dan Robinson Indexing Services H.W.
