GEN: PTK update Rain Forest series?

One of my science teachers has a print out from a listserv he monitors.  It
mentions a tv series on Rain Forest Brazil from PTK.  He seemed to think that
it was either a series or maybe a special channel.  We don't get much in the
way of American TV channels or public television here in Germany.

Can anyone give us some information about PTK, or the Rain Forest Brazil
series.
