TECH: software for visually impaired

Hi LM_Netters,
        I hope you can help me.  I have a teacher of visually impaired
students looking for a shareware program that will enhance the characters
on a computer screen?  She thinks the name of the program is CloseView or
enLARGE.  Do you know of this software or where we can access it?
        She also is interested in finding a listserve for disability
teachers.  Do you know of a good one?
