I enjoy receiving many of the catalogs that come in the mail.  I use the
book catalogs to review the new books coming out.  I also cut out the
color pictures of the books to use with various lessons for my students
or for folders I make to help my teachers make book selections for whole
language or read alouds.  They love the colorful folder full of ideas to use
in the classroom to follow up after reading the book.  The kids love the
activities.

Yes, there are catalogs that I get that are worthless.  But that's where
the wastebasket comes in handy.
