Research Question

I work in an elementary school library so my sources are somewhat
limited. I am needing info on a woman named Jane Benedict. She was a
sociologist or anthropologist who worked\lived in the Appalachian Mtn.
region. Probably in the early to mid 20th century. If anyone can locate
info on her I would certainly appreciate hearing from them.
