Re Ken's suggestions for commercial phone callers

This has proved useful with teachers as well even if by accident. I have a
particular Science teacher who never comes near the library but regularly
phones to say a student will be down to pick up a required video. One day
she phoned during recess and I put the phone down and went and told my
assistant who was very busy and did not take my instruction fully on board.
At the end of recess I realised the phone was still off the hook. On
apologizing to the teacher she commented she hung up after her coffee got
cold but I also think she got the message.
