Dear LM_NET Colleagues,

The way that spammers get to you is through very clever abuse of e-mail
capabilities.

One of the best ways to stop them is to NEVER reply to them, and to NEVER
post their advertisement to 10,000 other people. (That just sort of helps
them out even more.)

One of the best responses to spammers is to complain to their service
provider (e.g., postmaster@spamjerk.com-- using their actual IP address of
course.) Be sure to include the spammer's complete header, which is a
function of your own individual e-mail software.

Also, you might want to send the Federal Trade Commission a Cc:
uce@ftc.gov

However, please DO NOT re-post a spam to LM_NET. It will only get you
dropped and possibly banned from our list. We have a very firm policy
toward abusive use of this list.
