ELEM:titles you wish you had

A friend and I were talking about subjects we WISH were more
plentiful for the pre-K through 6 library.  We'd like to see
 more interesting books about "community helpers" (fiction
would be best) and U.S. Government.  We'd REALLY like to see
some great titles about getting along, being polite,
respect... things the kids could really relate to...

What "gaps" do you find in your collections?  What's on YOUR
"wish list"?
