Summer reading is killing me [Time Warp Tio]

        This is another in the funny series of the Time Warp Trio in
which they get sent "back" to a library which is inhabited by
characters from the books in the summer reading list.  At the end
they are saved from the evil characters by one character who has
combined all the boring girl characters into one thus boring all the
evil characters to sleep and they have a chance to escape.  I must
say that it is not my favorite of the series which is by far "Tut,
Tut."
        This series (always under 100 pages) is great for reluctant readers.
 I have students that are always asking when the next one is coming
out.  As a note: I heard Jon Scieszka speak at a conference and he
read the original ending to this book which used just one character
from book to bore everyone to death.  He knew is would have problems
getting permission to use it alone.  Too bad -- we were in tears as
he read it!
