Re: card cataloguing computer program

Hello Netters,
Hope that you are enjoying your summer. I am teaching a
teacher-librarian course for Nipissing University in my library for the
next couple of weeks. Some of the new librarians are inheriting
libraries that still use card catalogues and will not be automating
right away. Funding and technology issues of course. So I was wanting to
try and get a program that makes the cards for them. I once had a little
program on the C-64 (remember them) that did the job quite nicely. Some
use IBM and some use Macs. I hope that you can direct me to a company
that sells inexpensive programs.
