The referenced message most assuredly did *not* get posted to LM_NET.

However, dealing with these can be time consuming-- and their presence
adds to the slowdown of the Internet in general, not to mention the other
problems which others have mentioned due to our services being provided by
schools.

There are indeed a number of recommended ways to deal with such
unsolicited e-mail, often called "spam". I have added a set of links to
the CHS Library Helpful Bookmarks that explain about "Internet Hoaxes,
Urban Legends, and Viruses". Several of the links in this section deal
