Having begun our technology here with a mainly MAC environment, we now have parent concern about our lack of Windows machines. Although we do run some cross-platform machines here in the library, the parent perception is that we are short-changing the students by continuing to run (and enjoy) our MACS. Please note: this is not about a MAC/PC debate. I need information from schools running cross-platform networks. Specifically, I need to know how seamless you consider your environment to be as programs move through your network. We are a JK-12 school, so I would be particularly interested in those schools operating in similar situations.
