REF: legend of sand dollar

Does anyone know the legend of the sand dollar? I have a teacher who has
requested this information and I have been unable to locate anything.
Actually, I know that I have it packed away at home with my Christmas
ornaments (with a sand dollar ornament), but I surely don't feel like
climbing into my attic and going through boxes to get the answer.
Also, another question. Do people go no mail for the summer, or unsubscribe
and resubscribe in the fall? This has been my first year on LM_NET and it's
great. I've gotten some wonderful information and it's nice being able to
communicate with others.
