I want to add my two cents worth to this discussion--We are not only a
classroom, we are a laboratory class, and the more hands on learning we
provide the better.

Dear Earl and all--well said!, and I agree.  It seems to me that one of
our challenges in this specialty profession is explaining to
(convincing?)our educational colleagues as well as the rest of the big
wide world that we are a hybrid of a "normal" classroom and a "regular"
