Dear Joni,
        Kudos to you!  You said, beautifully and succinctly, everything I
observe and believe about the usefulness of the internet versus, and in
combination with, print.  I have printed two copies, one to keep in my
files at home and one to keep at work, so I can refer to it when needed.
With your permission, I plan to quote you.
        Thanks for taking the time to state the case so well.  We all need
to hold the internet up to the same standards of quality or lack thereof
that we do our other resources.
