>Please forgive me for not being able to figure out something that is probably very obvious, but... I recently purchased a new computer (Windows 95) with a large disk drive. It was formated into sections c, d, e. Drive C is now full. How to I use drives d & e? Can I just drag some programs from C to D (would the computer be able to find them?) When I install new programs the wizard usually just puts the programs into C...how can I change that (there have been a few that asked and I changed it do D and those installed there & worked fine). > I can't find any information on this in the "Dummies" books, so I wonder if I should even have alternate drives. I thought that Windows 95 would recognize large drives making formating into sections unnecessary. >Please help. This is a major problem right now. >Thanks. >Linda Linda Hill, Librarian Meridian High School 728 South Wall Box 380 Macon, IL 62544 Home address: RR#4 Box 260 Decatur, IL 62521 lhill@fgi.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
