I am in a K-5 school. Our print encyclopedias are getting old (in encyclopedia years) and will soon need to be weeded. I was planning on replacing one set this year. Since we have several encyclopedias on CD-ROM and access to several online, I am not planning on having as many sets in print as we have had in the past, but I don't want to get rid of them entirely. My question is: What print encyclopedias would you recommend for an elementary school? I have used World Book and Compton's quite a bit, but am not as familiar with some of the others, such as Grolier's. I'll post a hit. TIA!
