Hello Amanda and Group,

I was the one who asked about the squirrels' appetite for wire coverings
and insulation under the hood of a car. A friend asked me, knowing that
librarians had answers for EVERYTHING! :-) I received several responses
from LM_NETters, and they all agreed that red pepper paste would do the
trick. I wonder if hot sauce (tabasco?) would work. They said there is
also a kind of pepper spray that you can purchase at a pet store. The
only problem is if you live in a relatively wet area, I would think it
would have to be replaced often.
