This happens periodically at school, but less often at home. The keyboard won't work -- won't type, number lock won't turn on and off and the mouse won't work. My vendor said that sometimes it is due to static, and suggested unplugging and replugging the mouse (or the keyboard? I'm not sure which it is on the computers at school). I've tried this with those with round plug ends, but not those that screw in. So far, it seems to work more than half the time -- the keyboard and mouse both work after replugging. We do have more static at school than I have at home, so maybe that is part of it. (same vendor both places -- he builds his own) Hope that helps some of you with some of the freeze ups. I'd be interested in knowing if it works on any other computers than those our vendor built.
