"Good" Ethiopian

As part of our Ethnic Heritage Day, students have been "assigned" a
country, and have been asked to find out information about a person who was
born in that particular country and who did something positive for that
country and/or the world.
        Today, a student came in and needed the above information re: Ethiopia.
        Can anyone think of someone she could research?
