The six traits of writing are Ideas and Content, Organization, Voice, Word
Choice, Sentence, Fluency, and Conventions. You will find out more when you
go the the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory website.  Many, many
districts have adopted this writing model, not to be confused with other
writing/editing processes.  There is a rubric that goes along with it.
