      This is the story of an unknown virus which breaks out in a
town centered around a large medical center.  The whole plot of the
virus discovery, etc. is great but the characters are not painted too
deeply.  I had trouble putting it down in certain places but the
whole thing wraps up very neatly reminding you that it is a series
which deals with teenagers whose life center around the "emsee" MC.
The book is a good read for a series. The whole virus thing is a
current topic and I am glad I read the book -- it was worth the price
(it was a book fair bonus).  The book has 278 pages and around a 6th
grade reading level.
      If you have it in your collection, I would recommend that you
read it but I am not sure if you should rush out a purchase it.
