dictionaries and e-rate

Hi there, I have two questions (not to mention the hundreds I keep
sending to the SLC people). First of all does anyone have a really
good dictionary for a K-8 school?  This would be the big one kept on
the library stand. I'd appreciate your recommendations.
Next , as some of you may know there is this SLC discount program out
there and I am now applying for it stage one.  I am stuck however on
question #3 (a) which asks for a school number.  Where does one come
