GEN: Korea food and culture

Dear Helpful ones...
        I have a senior girl who is doing her graduation project on Korean
Cuisine, its history and customs and celebrations which include special
foods.  I have found some sites for Korean culture in general, but not
much about food, and some sites with lots and lots of recipes for Korean
food without a history of the same.  If any of you know of a site, both
she and I would be grateful.
