Dear Netters, A friend of mine is doing research in order to propose purchasing laptops for students in her school district and changing over to CD-based textbooks. I saw a related item posted recently, but didn't see any response. Is there anyone out there who has had any experience with this in their own schools, or has anyone done any research is this area? I am an elementary technology coordinator, but am studying library science now, so most of my professional reading has been library related. Thanks in advance! Please feel free to repsond directly to me. I will post a hit if I receive enough info.
