ELEM: Poetry Activities

Dear helpful readers:

Does anyone have suggestions for poetry activities for first graders? We
have a first grade teacher that likes to work with poetry a lot. She would
like the students to learn about poetry as well as write their own poetry.
Any activities that involve the library are appreciated too!
