I asked how many schools are notified before a fire drill
31 were notified (8 of those not all the time)
      6 were not notified

Here are selected comments
Several schools are re-evaluating having the doors lock behind
them after the Arkansas situation.
Several schools have a code-word system over the PA to notify
for fire drills or lockdowns
Most are notified at meetings, daily memos or sign-in sheets.
One was even published in the annual calendar (I see weather
problems). Some have codes at the sign-in sheet such as a happy
face.

People who were not notified
Concerned that it was not a true drill if notified
Had "leaks" and knew when they were coming.

One note: One school in southern CA mentioned that their students
are taught to "drop" when they here popping noises.
