I am thoroughly in favor of no filters on internet connections and support teaching students how to deal with porn that is freely available on the net. BUT how do we teach the children to deal with this? the other day a teacher was searching yahoo for information about a place in mexico. the children turned up xxx rated sites. they wanted to know why and we did explain this...but it was not to my own satisfaction. I know why but i don't know how to convince teen aged boys that its not in their best interest to pursue such links. so where do you turn for what to say actually when students question and better, what do we say when they don't ask !???!! is there a site for this sort of discussion? thanks for your help!
