Dear LM_NET Colleagues, It was wonderful to read Linda's thoughtful and caring words, and to know that LM_NET has been a place of support to her. One comment in particular struck me: On Sat, 2 May 1998, Julia Christian wrote: > students and schools. Already I have gotten so much support from the > wonderful people on this list. Please, let's not divide into a them-and-us > mentality. There is enough of that in our world today as it is. Libraries Well said! The guidelines for LM_NET include and invite participation from all persons involved in school libraries, including librarians, aides, paraprofessionals, administrators, vendors, authors, parent volunteers, to name some of the types of related groups already aboard. We are happy to provide this virtual community, LM_NET, where we can share and learn from our common concerns and diverse experiences.
