Speaking of organizing the 398's-- because I work in a magnet school
whose focus is international studies, we have lots and lots of folk tales
& fairy tales from around the world. I've made little stickers with the
continents' names on them to label these stories and I shelve them
according to continent. I've had lots of favorable comments from both
teachers and students regarding this 'creative organization.' I think
the whole point of classifying and organizing books in a library is to
make them more accessible for your patrons and this works for us.
