Hi, everyone. I don't remember who wanted to know about @ but maybe I can contribute. In= =20 Portugese we call "@" symbol "arroba". My Oxford Universal Dictionary =20 says: [Sp.,ad.Arab.] I. A weight used in Spain and Sp. America of the=20 standard value of 25 Sp. or 25.36 Eng. pounds..." Brazilians still use the= =20 measure, but it is not recognized as a standard since we use the metric=20 system. Maybe it is similar to the =A3 symbol. Maybe this is a clue to further investigations.
