TARGET: Media Center in Pre-K/K building

Next year I will be the media specialist/technology coordinator for a
building serving only kindergarten and pre-K students. Historically my
district has budgeted for and provided only minimal media services to
the students and staff at this level. I am excited about this
opportunity, but also somewhat at a loss in planning programming.

I would like to hear from others about the types and level of library
and computer lab services/programming they supply to kindergarten
students. Any resource suggestions (research findings, best practice
statements, articles, etc.) and/or personal experience suggestions
would be greatly appreciated!
