Jobs in Missouri

I was browsing through the Missouri job openings and noticed Quite a few
for school media specialists/librarians.  Can anyone in Missouri Education
give me a hint why there are so many openings?  A friend in NY told me
there are quite a few up there because of an appealing retirement package,
but what is happening in Missouri?
