Here is another one. Does anyone recognize this poem? It is entitle "Peter and John", has 13 stanzas, and starts out like this: Twelve good friends Walked under the leaves, Binding the ends of the barley sheaves. Peter and John Lay down to sleep Pillowed upon, The hay-maker's heap. Last stanza: In the falling sun He burned like a flame: "John, Saint John, I have dreamed the same!" This supposedly was written by a 5th grade student. Do you recognize it. Doris J.
