I asked for help identifying which printer was sending print jobs. The main
advice has been to create a cover page or a banner page but as this would
mean more paper use, I do not think it would help but thanks anyway. There
seem to be other choices for those using Novell etc but I have a simple
ethernet using appleshare.
I have a COMPAQ Marq 20 which is huge and was exchanged for a simple apple
laser writer by the previous principal. He could never work out why I was
not happy. The thing has a huge manualalmost as thikc as the Mac Bible but
far less intelligible. At least when a student began to copy 60 times 72
pages the other day, in desperation I went to a menu item (RESET PRINTER)
that looked ominous but did stop the print job. The teacher is sending a
bill to the parents (120 pages from the World Book were printed - 60 times
2 pages so not even useful) but in our area I do not like the chances.
