Hi ... today's (May 31) online NY Times has an article by Rebecca Fairley Raney, titled "Los Angeles Libraries Experience Renaissance With Computer Use." One notable pair of sentences reads: "The doomsayers were wrong. The crush of information has made librarians more important than ever." There may be much here of interest to LM_Net folks, even though the focus is on public libraries.
