TARGET: inventory procedures

Do any of you have a list of all the tasks that are done in connection
with taking inventory that you would be willing to share?  I am
surrounded by administrators and teachers who think scanning is all there
is to it.  I am trying to educate them that teaching library skills to
600 students is more than a full time job and that taking inventory is a
full time job as well.  They can't both be done at the same time!  Help
me if you can!
