Dear all, We had storms in the Milwaukee area over the week-end and apparently a strong wind blew the roof off my school library. The principal called this morning to let me know. I'll see it tomorrow. Apparently the books along the outer wall may be all right but the books (and computers) in the middle of the LMC got pretty wet. (this is my very extensive reference collection.) I tried looking in the archives but I couldn't find anything. Can anything be done to save wet books? damp books? especially when there are so many. I wanted to weed some of these but not this way. What a way to end the year. If anyone has any helpful hints I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. -- Janice Ziglin, Library Media Specialist Pilgrim Park Middle School Elm Grove, WI janicez@execpc.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
