Thank you to all who responded with literary criticism sites. Replies I received: l.Not much lit crit of the net and this is the only site that I have really found. http://www.ipl.org/ref/litcrit/. This was the most popular site mentioned. Internet Puplic Library. 2.One place she should be sure to search is the NY Times online. They have a database of their book reviews from 1980 to the present. While it won't provide all the invformation she's looking for, it will usually provide an in depth review, which my teachers have been happy to get. http://www.nytimes.com - its free, but you have to register as a user. 3. I get lots of reviews from www.amazon.com 4. She can try biography.com. The best thing is to do a search using a search engine and put the name of the author in quotes. I used www.metacrawler.com. She also could use books and periodicals. They still exist!!! Unless someone has put up the information that is still the kind of thing you mainly get through paid subsciption over the Internet. If you get some good info, please post a hit. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
