SEC: Scanning

We have 2 new Microtek ScanMaker V310s.  We are having trouble with them
freezing up during preview and scan.  We have tried to use them with a
Mac 6500 and a Mac G3.  If anyone has had any experience with this
scanner used with either of these Mac computers, please give us any
information that you have about our problem.  Thanks so much for any help
you can give us.  It is frustrating as these machines are brand new.
