Athena - bought out by Sagebrush Technologies

Here's the scoop from Athena (Nichols Advanced Technologies)
Yes, Athena has been bought out. However, it was bought out by Sagebrush
Technologies which has brought 3 library focused services together hoping
to provide more comprehensive coverage.)They are:
1.Nichols which is Athena (will continue to dev'p & support the product)
2.Catalog Card (does retrospective conversions of data bases)
3.Econoclad - book vendor

Previous info (which made it seem as if the buyout was negative) came via a
competitor! In fact, Nichols says they are now in a stronger postion re
support for libraries. Hope this clears things up.
