Target: Challenged Book

A parent of a kindergartner in one of our elementary schools has voiced a
concern regarding the book Bang Bang You're Dead by Louise Fitzhugh. We do
have a reconsideration policy in place to help us handle this matter. However,
as of right now, the parent has not submitted the required form regarding his
concerns about this material so that the reconsideration committee can meet on
this matter. We, library/media specialists, would like to know if anyone has
had any experiences with this book, and also, what your opinion of this book
is. The copyright date of the book is 1969.
