Dear Colleagues,

I have a request from the head of a professional organization for ideas for
books that feature clothes or an article of clothing to be possibly
featured as transition features between models in a fashion show. Without
working terribly hard I have come up with the following titles. If
something else pops in your head upon hearing this idea, I would be
delighted to hear it and of course share the final results.

1. The Principal's New Clothes
2. Lily's Purple Plastic Purse -- Kevin Henkes
3. Aunt Flossie's Hats and Crab Cakes Later
4. Chicken Sunday -- Patricia Polacco (Easter Hat)
5. New Blue shoes -- Eve Rice
6. The Rag Coat-- Lauren Mills
7. Coat of Many Colors -- Dolly Parton
8. The Woodcutter's Coat--Ferida Wolff
9. 500 Hats of Bartholemew Cubbins (double check spelling on this ) -- Seuss
10. Peter's Pocket's -- Eve Rice
11. Sad Underwear (poem title) from Sad Underwear and other
    complications--Judith Viorst
11. The Hockey Sweater -- Roch Carrier
12. The Paper Bag Princess -- Robert Munsch

I know there is a book about a rather long scarf, but cannot recall the title.

This was brain fun so far for me-hope some of you enjoy it as well. And
then of course there are the wonderful outfits from the Magic Schoolbus
series, but the feature of the book is not clothing.

Sincerely,
Kathy Fencil
