This is a informal survey of schools, all levels that are currently
using DYNIX library automation software for school libraries.
Please respond by Oct 16th.  Any additional information would br
helpful.
We are a regional school library autoamtion service serving
the Central New York area and are considering DYNIX as a platform.

We apprecaite your attention and insights.

1.  How long did does it take for a troubleshooter to return your
call when you phone for follow up service or technical support?

2.  How easy is the search screen for elementary children to use?
Middle School?  High School?

3.  How many steps does it take to switch between common operations?
(Searching OPAC by title, then subject, or checking an item out, then
discharging or renewing a different item)

4.  How easy is it to do Interlibrary Loan online? Does it reduce
turnaround time, and/or paperwork?

5.  Are the stock report forms usable, and how easy is it for a
librarian to modify them?

6.  Any other critiques, comments, or helpful suggestions you can add
to help us evaluate this system?
