I don't know if any of the ways I sent you to save a Web page background worked. They didn't work for me -- but here is a very roundabout way to accomplish it (since the Mac mouse does not have right click buttons): When the Web page that you want is up, in Netscape you can choose from the View menu Page Info. This will give you the http addresses for the page, its background and the other images on the page. Click on the backgroud image http. This will bring up, at the bottom part of the window, the local cache file for that background. Go to the cache folder (that's under your system folder/preferences/Netscape f/cache f. Find the gif that has that cache number. You can now copy it or drag it to the folder where you keep your gifs. And now you can use it as a background. Well, as I said, it is a roundabout way, but the only way I could get it to work for me. It goes without saying, of course, that you shouldn't be copying and using any backgrounds unless you know they are copyright free. If anyone has a more direct way that really works with a Mac, I will be glad to pass it on to the list.
